Check-In & Age Verification

Official Spring 2026 standard for NNSFL. Aligned with BASFL partnership operations.
Age Cutoff (2026): August 1, 2025.
No registration in the NNSFL App = no participation. No exceptions.

Core Standard
  • Eligibility (All Formats): every athlete must be fully registered in the NNSFL App.
  • Correct team + correct division is required for participation.
  • NNSFL may verify eligibility at check-in or any time during the season.
Zero Tolerance: Punching/fighting/bench-clearing incidents can trigger immediate ejection and team removal.
Authority
  • Referee reports are primary authority on game day.
  • NNSFL has final discretion on discipline, disputes, and eligibility decisions.
  • No challenges. No “we’re different over here.”
Check-In Standard (All Formats)
  • Registered in the NNSFL App
  • Correct team
  • Correct level/division
  • If wristbands are used: wristband matches level/division and is worn/available
Check-In Flow (7v7 / 5v5 / Girls Flag)
  • Week 1 (League Check-In): NNSFL staff checks in athletes in the app (and wristbands by level/division if used).
  • Weeks 2–3 (Host Team Check-In Recommended): host team checks in athletes using the NNSFL App and confirms division placement.
  • Mega Event / Final Week: league check-in (same standard as Week 1).
Check-In Flow (Tackle)
  • Jamboree: NNSFL staff checks in athletes in the app.
  • Week 1 through Regular Season + Playoffs: Team Managers check in the opposing team and level/division prior to each game using the NNSFL App.
  • Championships: NNSFL checks in athletes.
  • Nationals: check-ins are TBA.
Accepted Verification Documents
  • Student: Student ID or Student Demographic Form
  • Age: Birth Certificate, Passport, or State ID
Age Verification (8U / 10U / 12U)
  • Option A: Student ID or Student Demographic Form AND Birth Certificate
  • Option B: Passport OR State ID (no second document required)
Age Verification (14U / High School)
  • Required: Student ID or Student Demographic Form
  • Plus one: Birth Certificate, Passport, or State ID
